Kristians Buckwheat Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pack of dry yeast

  • 2 teaspoons of salt

  • 2 teaspoons of sugar

  • 2 cups of lukewarm water

  • 1 1/3 cup oatmeal

  • 0,9 pounds of buckwheat

  • 0,4 pounds of regular wheat flour

  • 1 cup of yoghurt natural

  • Mix yeast, salt and water.

Directions:

Add oatmeal, yogurt, sugar and both types of flour. Stir with a fork until the dough is nice and even. The dough will be sticky. Seal dough in a bowl and let it rest over night.

Baking version 1:

With two tablespoons through bun sized dough on a baking sheet.Bake at 440 degrees for 17-20 minutes.

Baking version 2:

Butter a cast iron skillet. Pour all dough into the skillet and put a lid on. Place the skillet a foot over campfire and pour embers onto of the lid.

Bake for 15 minutes and then check to bread every 3-5 minutes. The bread should be ready in 20 minutes depending on the skillet and the heat. Enjoy!
